When Maggie moved to Nashville in 2011, she was working in the education industry, where she quickly rose to the role of Director of a tutoring center. In that position, she not only sharpened her skills in business management, team leadership, and client service but also discovered something even greater—her passion for entrepreneurship. By January 2013, she could no longer ignore the call to build something of her own, and Ad Astra Events was born.
From the very beginning, Maggie’s vision has been rooted in service—both to the couples she works with and to the team she leads. She believes that a well-supported, highly trained planning team is the key to providing couples with an exceptional experience. That’s why she designed Ad Astra Events’ comprehensive training program, ensuring every Lead Planner is equipped with the expertise, problem-solving skills, and heart for service that define the company’s approach.
Today, Maggie continues to channel that same dedication into every wedding Ad Astra plans by empowering her team to rise to a high level of care and expertise. Through regular staff meetings and hands-on mentorship, she ensures that every couple working with Ad Astra feels heard, supported, and confident in their planning journey.

With a keen eye for detail and an incredible ability to juggle multiple moving parts at once, she thrives in the fast-paced world of wedding planning. Her own experience of planning, unplanning, and replanning a pandemic wedding sharpened her adaptability and problem-solving skills—while also reminding her of the deep joy that comes with starting a new life chapter with your best friend.
Her background in live music events, international arena tours, and large-scale conferences has given her a unique perspective on logistics and execution. But for Kathryn Rose, nothing compares to the magic of a wedding day—when all the planning comes to life, and she gets to witness her couples finally say, “I do.”
Every friend group has that one person—the one with the grand visions, the detailed lists, and a spreadsheet for every occasion. Amy is, without a doubt, that person. Organization and strategy have always come naturally to her, but her background as a Level I ICU Nurse sharpened her ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and handle high-pressure situations with grace. No matter the challenge, Amy meets it with a steady, solution-oriented presence, ensuring that every wedding unfolds seamlessly.
She finds true joy in guiding couples through the ebb and flow of wedding planning, making sure they feel supported every step of the way. And as a driven Enneagram 3, she won’t settle for anything less than an exceptional experience—for both her couples and their guests.
Rose is known for her vibrant energy, infectious enthusiasm, and natural talent for helping others. A true people person, she thrives on building connections and creating experiences that feel both seamless and unforgettable. Originally from Chicago and a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Rose brings a dynamic mix of passion, precision, and adaptability to every wedding she helps bring to life.
Since stepping into the world of event planning in 2021, she has fully embraced the fast-paced, immersive nature of the industry. Her approach is rooted in meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to making every couple feel supported. After years of orchestrating a variety of events, she discovered her true calling in weddings—where creativity, logistics, and heartfelt moments come together.
With a diverse background in film production, business management, and clothing design, Dana brings a unique blend of artistry, precision, and West Coast flair to every celebration. She thrives on ensuring that each wedding day unfolds seamlessly, allowing couples to be fully present in the moment. Now proud to call Music City home, Dana is honored to serve Nashville couples with the same warmth, expertise, and dedication that have always defined her approach.

Hailing from the New York City area and with a degree in Corporate Communications from Baruch College, she is no stranger to a high speed environment making her well suited for keeping up in the event industry.

Jami brings so much kindness and professionalism to the team that they forgive her for being a Patriots fan.

Known for her even keeled temperament, obedience, and sitting on furniture like a human, Mopsy is an unbeatable companion. Despite her good behavior, her insistence on always wearing her white coat means she’s not invited to any weddings.
